the jetta would be the better choice.

The jettas with the problems were the 1999-2001 models, so your fine.

They're safe, fun to drive cars with good MPG, perfect for any driver.

The nissan is asking for problems. You should not buy a car with 25k miles on it, and i don't care how reliable the name is, my experience with nissan wasn't so great.

The jetta has below average miles.

    51k miles in five years?

The Nissan Altima will last much longer and gets decent fuel economy.

Being in Germany, I may be a little one sided, however I think that the Jetta would be the better choice. Less miles, better gas mileage, easier to work on. I am currently a manager for a auto hobby shop here for the military.

    Nissan is more reliable

but 74K is too much for 3 years.

probably was a rental car or fleet car.

    I'd say pass on both

    look for

    Pontiac Vibe / Toyota Matrix

Neither. VW is terrible. I would say Nissan, but thats a lot of miles for only be 3 years old. 25k miles a year is way too many.

Definitely the Nissan because it will last much longer in the future.
