What will Alonso's and Hamilton's career stats look like when they retire?

Totally arbitrary, but let's see some predictions.

Drivers titles - 5

Wins - 45 to 55

Poles - 40

Points - 1000 to 1100

Career earnings w/ endorsements - $400 million U.S.

Hamilton

Seasons - 12

Titles - 6

Wins - 60 - 70

Poles - 50 - 60

Points - 1200 to 1300

Career earnings - $1.2 billion US

Great question. They will both probably be near the top of all the record lists if they both drive for another 10 years, seeing as there are so many GPs each season and the massive importance of having the best car (and the amazing reliability of modern GP cars) meaning that there are so few "wild-card" days. The money I don't have a clue about, but as to stats:

    Alonso:

    Seasons in F1 - 14 (retiring in 2015 aged 36)

    Drivers titles - 4 (two back-to-back wins)

    Wins - 55

    Poles - 35

    FLs - 30

    Points - 1100

    Hamilton:

    Seasons - 12 (retiring in 2018 aged 33)

    Titles - 3 (none consecutively)

    Wins - 50

    Poles - 55

    FLs - 30

    Points - 1200

I feel Alonso will have the more titles because he's not such a hot-and-cold driver...consistency brings you titles, not speed.

Shame that this Q will have been lost to the world by the time 2015 comes around...

I agree with Rosbif, one of the best F1 questions ever, very origional and thought prevoking.

    Alonso,

    Seasons in F1, 12

    Dc's, 6

    Wins 37-42

    poles 40 ish

    points 850- 950.

    Hamilton,

    Seasons 10

    titles 4

    wins 30- 35

    poles 30- 40

points 800- 900, I expect Hamilton to become runner up a few times. not sure about earnings, enough!!

Kobe would be a legend, yet no extra advantageous than Lebron on the best-ever record. whilst Lebron finishes his occupation, he may be the G.O.A.T with the aid of fact no longer basically will he get rather some championships, yet he gets many Finals MVPs. BTW - Lebron, D-Wade, Durant, Carmelo. any one among those fellows might desire to drop 80 one factors in a activity in the event that they tried. Kobe isn't particular with the aid of fact he did that.
