When you cook meals regularly you have left-overs. Get a large plastic bowl and put your left-overs in it. It doesn't matter what it is, meatloaf, pot roast, green beans, corn, carrots, green peas, baked beans, it really doesn't matter. One tip don't put potatoes in the freezer. When they thaw they are nasty. You just keep adding to the bowl until it is full and you are ready for soup. When you are ready, take it out of the freezer and put in a large pot with some water. Heat until it starts to break apart and then add some fresh diced potatoes, onions and add a can or two of crushed tomatoes. Simmer a couple of hours stirring occasionally. If it starts to get to thick just put a little water in it.
I know this sounds complicated but it's really not. You think about it you really don't need any seasonings because you have already seasoned everything when you first cooked them.
Good Luck!! Have fun with your cooking!!!!!!
Years of trying to find ways of using left-overs.
