Does Green tea really aid in weightloss?

if do, how often do you need to drink it? Can you sweeten it?

Update:

brob, that makes no sense... seeing as that I dont drink soda, and mt dew had nothing to do with my question.

    Green tea can give your weight loss efforts a boost, but the rest of your diet has to be in order and you have to get regular exercise. If you're not doing those things, all the green tea in the world won't help you lose weight.

    You can drink as much as one quart of green tea per day, but it does have caffeine, so you'd want to stop drinking it at 4:00 PM latest. Sweetening it with sugar adds extra empty carb calories, which turn into very easy fat storage. If you must sweeten it, best to use Splenda.

    YES, green tea helps in losing weight but if you drink it for just losing weight you shouldn't sweeten it. green tea lose some of its benefits when you add anything to it

    yea if u change what ur drinking now to it if ur drinking unhealthy things and green tea if good for u no matter how groose it is lol

    ditch the mayo cheese and top bun if you want to scrape off 250 calories from a restaurant sandwich

    yes if you are currently drinking 6 mt. dews a day and you cut them out and drink the tea.
