Worst health and beauty products for vegetarians?

I don't want to support companies who do testing on animals.

Do you know the worst companies or products out there to definetely stay away from? (shampoo, soap, etc. ) thanks!

All those lists above are great BUT a word of warning................

Some companies are a little bit sneaky when advertising.

They say they don’t test on animals and whilst that may be true it may not be strictly true because some of the by-products they buy in to make their product may have actually been tested on animals.

By law, they don't need to disclose that bit of information. So by buying their products you are still supporting testing on animals, even though you think you are doing the right thing.

It is if you have developed a lactose intolerance! This can happen to you at any time, not just born with it. Some say all pasteurized milk is not good, some say any with BGH is not good....everyone has different opinions, and all sides have facts and evidence to support their beliefs. If you think milk may be giving you problems, go without dairy products for 12 weeks and see if you feel any better.

One that hasn't been listed is Burt's Bees. They don't test on animals and have a huge line of products from shampoos to lip gloss to lotion.

I don't know if there is a trader joe's near you but any Tom's Naturals products don't test on animals either. They may have those at local health food stores. They come with everything from deodorant to toothpaste.

    Good luck!

L'Oreal. Badbadbadbadbad. They test practically everything on animals. So does Cover Girl.

MAC is cruelty free, and Hard Candy has a great "vegan" section on their site. I think Revlon is CF now, too.
