My bonus this year exceeded the amount I was expecting

I was expecting?

My bonus this year exceeded the amount I was expecting.

My bonus this year exceeded the amount (which) I was expecting.

    用I expected,說成

My bonus this year exceeded the amount (which) I expected.

    I was expecting 是過去進行式(Past Continuous)

At the time in the middle of doing sometime.

Happening in a period around now.

    Change happening around now.

My bonus this year exceeded the amount I had expected.

My bonus this year exceeded the amount I was expecting.

    這不是過去完成式,I was expecting,前面只是省略了一個關係代名詞,然後接I was expecting而已。
