    No, the U.S. Postal Service does not deliver mail on any national holiday.

    For general postage no - But...I received two items from Amazon Prime through USPS (2-day shipping) today - July 4th, 2014 10:42am

    No, the 4th is a federal holiday, and USPS is a federal mail program.

    No mail delivery on the 4th of July. it is a national holiday, and rightly so. It is the birthday of our nation, the signing of the Declaration of Independence. God Bless our USA!!! The greatest, most powerful, most benevolent nation in history.
