I know what you mean. I have always eaten breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Then again, my father's from Germany and my mother didn't work when I was living at home. Many Americans don't have time to fix meals and sit down together. In the mornings, they want to sleep as long as possible, therefor not having any time to eat breakfast. By the time they get home, they are too tired to fix anything substantial. It's unfortunate. I've always thought eating together as a family is very important in the upbringing of children.
