Honestly, getting though IIPM is no big deal. It is just another private college (shop?) and you meet most of their admission criteria if you can show them money. I suggest you to go to IIPM once, talk to anyone roaming inside the campus and get some details about their admission procedure. I am sure IIPM would have made certain arrangements in an effort to bring about certain respectability to their admission process, but don't worry, you'll get through anyways. It is a big farce out there. And be prepared to shell out huge sums of money - those full page ads need to be funded from somewhere!
In case you are looking at other options, doing courses like marketing insurance or finance from a college like CVS makes excellent sense. The cutoffs aren't that high (around 83, first list) so you should have a good chance of getting through if you are a decent student. Else, look for Amity Noida - though it is IIPM's half brother, it's still much better.
Best of luck!
Why I am so critical about IIPM is that I have witnessed some of the worst students from my school securing admission there. It is really not a place to be if you are serious about studies.
