how to make a water filter with marbles, sand, plastic bands, gravels etc ?

( No pebbles and stones allowed )

well, really basic

Materials:

Rubber bands, Pantyhose, coffee filters,Guaze,Paper Towel,Metal Mesh,Sand (Fine, Coarse)

Gravel

Fabric

Netting Material ( Any Nets)

Marbles

No need to use all

But not allowed to use materials that are not on the list

I really need this

In order to make a water filter, you need to list things appropriate in an order of size.

(Decreasing in size)

Insect net-->marbles--> Pantyhose-->metal mesh-->sand-->gravel-->coffee paper

What you have to do is use the gravel as container, place material in it as the largest size(insect net) is at the top and the smallest size (sand) at the bottom. At last place the gravel above the coffee paper (make it as cone shape like when you place filter paper in a funnel) to be the final bottom filter. Finally.Wrap the whole thing with towel and tighten it with rubber band will do.
