Grand Marnier or Cointreau?

Which is better to make margaritas with?

    Grand Marnier should be warmed up, straight up, or on the rocks. Cointreau is a top shelf mixer such as long islands or margaritas.

    While they are both orange, they are very different in taste. Contrineau is a lighter orange and has less sugar. If you are making the substitution in an alcoholic beverage there isn't much to worry about. If you are baking the dish, the Cointreau will be very subtle. If you a drizzling it over a dessert-don't use very much of the Cointreau.

    Either one is excellent. Both are top shelf. Triple sec is good on a budget. I found some Patron infused with orange. It was great with lime on ice.

    either... they are slightly different so it depends on your taste. Cointreau is my personal favorite.

    In a mixed drink it does not matter.
