Explain it plz the question is to simplify 6/the sqaure route of 2

Haha i just figured it :D

times it all by 2 and you get 4 routed which is 2 and the rest is simple lol cheers all

Rationalize it: that is, multiply both the top and bottom of the fraction by √(2)

Thus,

= [ 6 / √(2) ] * [√(2) / √(2)

= 6√(2) / √(2)√(2)

= 6√(2) / √4

= 6√(2) / 2

= 3√(2)

Note that √(2)*√(2) = √4

now the simplification

6/sqrt(2)

get red of the square root by doubling the whole number

6^2 / (sqrt(2))^2

36 / 2

you notice that there is no square root now

now you can simplify

36/2 = 18
