Avoid garlic and onion and keep a clean natural diet without irritating foods. Find out what they are (foods in the modes of passion and ignorance). Detox. Practice yoga daily. Do meditation and learn how to control the mind and fix it on something higher. Study the yogic philosophy in which men maintain celebacy and the fluids which would be normally lost by not being celebate, go to nourish the brain and make the students more intelligent and more focused in meditation. In this way have a reason to avoid. Don't watch TV or look in places that are causes of agitation to the mind.
Bhagavad Gita has some very good verses in this matter such as, "While contemplating the objects of the senses a person develops attachment for them, from attachment comes lust and from lust comes anger. From anger comes bewilderment of memory. When memory is bewildered intelligence is lost and when intelligence is lost, one falls down into the material pool." Bg 2.62-63
