How does wikipedia update information so fast?
Tim Russert, the NBC newsman died this afternoon. I went on wikipedia to read up about him since I didn't know alot about him, his death was already updated. How does wikipedia update their information so fast?

There are millions of people who know about his death, and there are probably 100,000 or so who have no life and are on the computer all the time, and will update wikipedia, plus the people who work for wikipedia or NBC, so it is only a matter of who updates first. I was suprised too though that it was updated.
