San Jose-Not much lol
San Francisco-Now you are talking! One of the most fun cities in the U.S.! You can go to Fishermans Warf, the embarcadero, Haight Ahsbery etc.
You will want to go a wine tour in Napa and/or Sonoma counties which are a few hours of driving north east of San Francisco.
If you have time and enough money for gas you could go up the coast north to Humbolt County. You could see the giant red woods. There are even places where the giant red woods grow right on the beach. It is very nice up there. Well worth the drive.
I would say SF itself, wine country and the big red woods. Stay away from San Jose as there is nothing to do there.Source(s): Former SF resident
