Obama and the Coming Stock Market Crash?

Beneath Obama's flowery rhetoric lies a dangerous economic plan that will wreak havoc on the American economy.

Obama plans to return to the failed policies of high taxation coupled with an expansion of government spending.

Worse, Obama says he is absolutely committed to almost doubling the capital gains rate — something he will easily accomplish with a Democrat Congress.

In the coming months — when investors realize that Obama will raise the cap gains rate — there could be a stampede of asset sales as investors rush to take their profits now to avoid Obama's doubling of the tax rates next year.

Indeed, Obama makes no bones about his plans to go on a tax rampage. Not only would he increase the capital-gains tax rate from 15 percent to as much as 28 percent, he wants to allow the 2001 and 2003 Bush tax cuts to expire in 2010, which effectively raises taxes on Americans by tens of billions of dollars

How many agree with obama's tax policies?

and the supposed educated obama supporters couldnt figure this out?

Tax and spend on the poor - give them everything they need. Then we can have a true utopia in this country. The democrats magical formula to give everyone free healthcare, free education, free jobs will just happen automatically. No one has to pay for anything. No new taxes, just use money spent in Iraq and Afghanistan. Yeah, that will pay for everything. Can't wait to see this country after just two years of their administration. Just can't wait to start criticizing everything single socialistic thing they do. Bring it on.

No chance. Bush has done all he can to make this mess we are in right now. So don't even try to blame Obama, or the current Dems. It has been 8 years of failed Dudya policies that got us to this point. I am glad though that some of the havoc that was created over the last eight years could not be held off until after the elections, just so everyone knows who was the real cause of this chaos.

Some one, some where, sometime or the other.with all the free health care, free college free welfare, going wake up one morning in a sheet load of trouble. and have no earthly idea in his inexperienced way, and has no clue as to how to get out of the mess he has made. . In the mean time Americans suffer. better do some serious thinking people, this is yours and your children lively hood at stake. at least think logical on this. and don't cut your nose off to spite your face, for a man you no so little about. It's your call.

bush is really going to be a tough act to follow when it comes to the economic havoc wreaking. To continue failed policy expecting different results seems foolish. It's clear rewarding the wealthy while everyone else pays the price, only helps the wealthy. At the very least it would be nice if someone, anyone, would just do what they say.

People said and still say the same thing about FDR.

Doubling the capital gains rate to what form what? have proof of this statement?

As far as what Bushies say, Obama would have no power to do anything you say.

I mean Bush either is responsible for some of the problems in America, or he isn't. If he doesn't have enough power to be, than Obama won't have enough power to be either.

Thank goodness someone has a viable plan, because the voodoo trickle down economics we have been seeing from the republicans has almost destroyed this country.
