Is the National League now better than the American League?

the AL has been pretty much the dominant league for the past decade but is that trend going to stay this year? I mean you got Utley with the first to 20 HRs, Chipper batting .400, Webb already double digit wins, they got Johan, they got Bruce and Volquez, etc.

Is the NL now the better league?

just cuz ure w-h-o-ring yourself for stars doesnt mean im gonna star your question.

Yeah the NL is better, cuz the best team, the LA dodgers are in it. Or if u want a better answer, here'a complete breakdown:

    The best of both leagues:

NL best C's: Martin, McCann, Soto

    AL: V-mart, Maeur

    Big Edge: NL

NL 1b's: Pujols, Berkman, Howard, Texeira, D.Lee, Fielder

    AL 1B's: Morneau, Ortiz

    BIg Edge: NL

    NL 2Bs: utley, Phillips, Uggla

    AL 2Bs: Kinsler, BJ

Closer, but still edge to NL

NL 3bs: Wright, Chipper, A-Ram, Atkins

    AL 3bs: A-Rod, Miggy

This is really close...but since the next best 3b in the AL is like Lowell im giving it to the NL

NL SSs: Reyes, rollins, Han-Ram, Tejada, Furcal

    AL SSs: Jeter, and uhhh....

    Complete Domiantion for the NL

NL Ofs: Soriano, Beltran, Holliday, Braun

AL Ofs: Vladdy, Manny, Ichiro, Hamilton, Crawford, Sizemore

Edge to AL-I feel like I'm missing a couple Good Ofs here but w/e

NL SPs: Johan, webb, peavy, Hamels

AL Sps: CC, beckett, Bedard, Kazmir

NL edge since a lot of the good AL picthers are struggling like the first 3 listed

    NL Closers: Saito, Wagner

AL Closers: Rivera, K-rod, Nathan, Paps

    Sizeable edge to AL

Overall AL wraps it up tighter than a....

U better gimme besta nswer after i wrote this frickin essay or i'm calling it quits out of our relationship, lmao

Eventually things have a way of changing.

Back in the 1970s- 1980s the NL was the dominant league, and I believe that the NL won 11 straight All Star Games, and it was in 1983 in Comiskey Park the the AL won for the fist time in a long time. Then for quite a while, it was the AL being the dominat league, but I feel it's beginning to revert back to the NL.

Yes. It seems the balance of power has finally shifted back to the NL. However, I think we should reserve judgment at least until interleague play and the All-Star game are over. At this point, the NL has ZERO excuses for not winning the All-Star game.

You are completely right! They are the top league. I hope to see them win the All Star game AND a NL team (preferably the Cardinals) win the WS.

I think the National league is now better than the American League for sure! Everything you mentioned, plus the Cubs are doing phenomenal! I think the NL is now the league to beat.

    I would have to agree

For some reason the AL has just plummeted (cue trumpet wah waaaaaaaah)

But the NL has some sweeping to do also

this just proves how tough the competions are
