Replacing yeast for pizza dough?

can i replace yeast with baking powder when i make pizza dough?

    No - it will react differently in the same recipe.

    If you do not have any yeast right now, pull open the cookbook and make a biscuit recipe - one that you roll out and cut out the round biscuit shapes. Roll it out thin and spread on the pizza pan. Trim off any excess over the edge.

    If you do replace it then the pizza dough will become a bit cake-ish.However it doesnt matter too much as tthe pizza dough is like bread and we use baking powder in bread:)
