This is a very difficult subject in that a vast amount of research is necessary to fully understand these simularities.
Moses is the person responsible for what has become Judism, Christianity, and Islam.
Moses was raised in the Pharoe's Court according to the bible, though the Egyptians themselves have left no intact account of this event.
This is not the same as saying that Moses grew up in Egypt.
Because to be raised in the court of the king meant to be groomed and educated to be a future Pharoe. This included being taught about writing, mathematics, astronomy, the psychology of being a king and how to influence others through authority. There is a wide chasm between local social exposure to a sociaty and being taught all that is known about governing a kingdom. In this sence Moses was nothing ordinary which is the exact opposite of what we are often taught about him.
Egypt had two distinct branches of a common religion.
To oversimplify this to make it easy to understand we could say that Osiris was the Lord of the common people (the public) and those people that followed the rules and laws of the Kingdom would be saved from going to the Egyptian version of hell (known as the Waters of Kaos where their name would be forgotten and they would basically fade from existance unless they straightened up, and then they might have a chance at reincarnation ,and do a better job next time)
The second form of this religion was sacred, that it was not known to the public, was the salvation through the son of Osiris who's name is frequently rendered as Horus.
In this religion there was ATUM, AMUN, and HORUS respectively the names are also rendered as PTAH, AMON, and RA_HOROCKTE. These are corespondent to the modern Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Where Jesus is reported to have said that, "no man commeth to the Father except by me" meaning he was the return to path to God so also was Ra-horockte the son of a God and the return path to God in the afterlife.
Where Jesus combats Satan, Horus combats Set,
Jesus overcomes Satan and saves people to heaven with God.
Horus overcomes Set and saves people to heaven with God.
The simularities are striking because the principals of God do not change, they are eternal.
The Koran says of the people of the book, We (Christians Jews and Muslims) all serve the same LLYH (GOD) But the Muslims are called to serve God as Allyah through Islam. The Christians view Jesus as the Holy Savior or conduit between man and God, And the Jews Serve God As YHVH.
None of these principals are fake or imposter they all speak very strongly to the Spirit of man through a voice that calls from deep in prehistory and from deep within the psyche of humanity.
It would be no differant to find a tree with red apples growing on it and sometime later to find one with green apples, however displaced I may feel that apples come in more than one color, It makes all of them none the less real, with no reguard for my understanding or my feelings, one differance between religion and spirituality is religion seeks a vote in what is real and spiritually seeks to know what is real.
I know I left out an amazing amount of information this was not intended as a thesis on this subject only a simple overview to reasure that what you believe is valid also.
