I've been thinking of ways for 2 months already but no definite solution to my problem.Any advice will be highly appreciated. Thanks!

The Australian Electoral Commission maintains electoral rolls which are accessible at its offices (but not online). http://www.aec.gov.au/

You could try the telephone book

Do a google, Myspace or Facebook search.

If you and your lost friend attended university together, contact your university's alumni: they may have a record of your friends last known address.

Also, go to your local police station and ask them how to track down your lost friend

Another option may be to get in contact with a private investigator who are experts at finding "lost" friends
