I think science is neither good nor bad. It really depends on how we apply it. Like driving a car, it can take us to our destination usually. However, it can also kill someone if the driver misuse it.

It is difficult to say. Science can improve our lives on one hand but also harm the world on the other. Especially if we do not protect our environment and overuse the natural resources, then it will certainly harm the world.
In the movie, science improves people's lives but people do nothing in order to protect the environment. As a result, the world climate changes, leading to soem abnormal weather and at last create damages to the whole world. This movie can more or less arouse people interest in protecting the environment while enjoying the results of science technology to people's lives.
