This is such a stupid question but I am currently writing a poem(a very dark sick twisted poem) and in it I want to mention a knife but I dont want to put the word knife in it so i was wondering if anyones knows if there is ant other names for a knife or if there are different kinds of knifes that have names i mean I've heard of a 'scythe' before but thats not really the kind of blade i wanna put in my poem. Anyway thanks for any help.
