Where is the funny 'Barthelona' saying from?

I hear this everywhere, where people say "Barcelona" like Catalonians do, "Barthelona." I have a feeling it's from a movie or something...

    Sue is right,

Barcelona is /barr sah loh nah/ in Catalan and / barr the loh nah/ in Spanish.

the "the" sounds like the "th" in thespian

It's from the way the word is pronounced in Spain. Not a movie, and I don´t see anything funny about it, unless you can see something funny about how you pronounce English...?
