It is located in Leviticus: And (frankly) NO you have the wrong interpretation: (Leviticus 18:19 is the reference)
To set up the context of this verse, you must understand that Leviticus is a book of law...not free interpretation.
-The passages before this verse are directed to men, then afterward towards women. But the interpretation of the quote with the much needed "back-up" verses reads as follows:
"Men do not have relations with a man as if she were an intended sexual partner (as a woman is) for it is an abomination."
So the whole "you shall not lie with mankind as you would with
women kind..." is not interpreted as "All ye men,you shouldn't have relations with men the SAME WAY as you would with a women. Because (arguably) one could say that it is impossible to have relations with a woman the same as a man simply because they are two different sexes. Like saying that 2 identical boats, with different names, should be treated
differently solely upon the name. Which is an indifferent interpretation-which contradicts the clear direct approach that a law giving passage retains.
