What boat is sunk near the Richmond Bridge?

When you drive over the Richmond- San Rafael Bridge, near the Richmond side, you can see the tip of some sunken boat. Does anyone know what boat this is?

This was originally the U. S. Coast Guard cutter HERMES (WPC 109), a 165-foot cutter built by Bath Iron Works in 1932. In 1958 she was sold to owners in Oakland CA, and in 1970 was sold for scrap to the Red Rock Marina of Richmond. She was never completely scrapped, eventually sank in place, and long after the Red Rock Marina had closed, this hulk remains visible. One sister, later used as the Presidential yacht POTOMAC, still cruises the waters of San Francisco Bay and often passes this site.
