I don't see why anyone wouldn't believe that the universe is expanding now. It's a common fact. The particles from the Big Bang are still moving outward (yes, I'm a Christian, but why couldn't God have made a big bang when he created the world?)
The mass defect is a fact, too, though not as well known. That's why space bends around a black hole.
Duh! There's no Nibiru. Why are you basing your knowledge on ancient carved tablets instead of scientific facts?
Umm, why would they go to all the trouble of launching up a rocket just to "pretend" they were going to the moon? That's just stupid. Columbus didn't sail off the edge of the world, Hillary climbed Everest (Edmund Hillary-not Democrat!), why couldn't Armstrong and Aldrin have landed on the moon? Also, even if the government decided to fake it, it's very hard to prove this (look at the article in sources). Plus, why would they go to the trouble of faking 6 missions to the moon? Wouldn't someone have leaked? It just isn't reasonable.
In the future, kids will be better informed. We have the knowledge to support these things now, but nobody knows about them. They choose to believe what the media and others tell them instead of listening to scientists. Also, here in the U.S., little focus is put on science. Many people cannot understand information for themselves and are at the mercy of those interpreting it. There are many who've never heard of these things, just because it's not really talked about.
Yes, people in the future will be laughing.
I'm laughing right now.
