The "anytime now" rapture doctrine is completely NON BIBLICAL. There is an appointed time for the return of Christ, and it is clear that it will NOT HAPPEN until AFTER
Antichrist sits in Jerusalem professing that he is god.
When that happens, the two witnesses are killed and then
exactly 3 1/2 days later, they rise to their feet and the true
Christ returns. Unless these rapture people figure they will
be disappeared up into the air at some time in those 3 1/2 days, nothing else is possible, Biblically speaking.
If they think they are gonna escape the tribulation of Antichrist, they won't be escaping much of it, because
at that point, its only that 3 1/2 days before the end of it
In Mark 13, Jesus Christ HImself gives a good chronological order of events that lead up to the return of the true Christ:
Nowhere in that list is there even a remote indication that any portion of the population - great or small - is to disappear,
vanish, be missing, be raptured or anything like it.
Do you think Jesus just forgot to add it? I don't think so.
Ezekiel 13:18 will tell you how God feels about this idea
of flying up and away into the clouds: He says He HATES it
when they teach his people to fly to save their souls. He goes
on to say that there is Jesus with his outstretched arms to
do the saving, and what do these folks do? They COVER up the saving arms of Christ, and teach people to fly away
to save themselves. The tower of Babel was another way
that people tried to create a different method of saving themselves rather than to look to God.
Theres nothing new under the sun, huh?
Nobody is going anywhere. Christ is coming HERE.
I hope that it can never be said that I would choose to run
and hide rather than to stand for my Heavenly Father.
These people are not ones I would want in the foxhole next
to me, for sure.
Even more than the fact that its not Biblical is the disturbing fact that if they think that at anytime we will be raptured up and outta here, then they completely by-pass the prophetic
events that God states MUST COME TO PASS before
the true Christ returns.
This doctrine is nothing more than a set-up for the deception of Antichrist. Think about it:
Scripture is clear that the first "jesus" on the scene will be
Antichrist, but he will not come as the devil - no, he's coming disguised as Jesus Christ. He will come in acting loving
and holy and he will play that Jesus role to the absolute hilt.
Those who do not realize this first jesus on the scene is
actually antichrist, will jump into the spiritual sack with him
real quickly. The problem with the rapture believers is that
they think the first jesus who comes is the real one, come to rapture them to safety. They will be "raptured" right into
the arms of the Antichrist. I have no doubt that this will be
the first of his many lies - that he is jesus come to rapture them to his loving saving protection. They are already set up
for the deception and don't even realize it.
All they need to do is listen to the simplicity in which Jesus
taught. They all read 1thessalonians, but never get around
to reading the second letter where Paul says "I don't want
you to be deceived by spirit or even by WORD FROM US
(meaning that first letter) that Jesus WOULD NOT gather back to us until Antichrist comes FIRST.
They had better start listening to Gods Word instead of to
unlearned blow-hards who push this doctrine.
"Lack of knowledge will be mans destruction". And on
a spiritual level, thats exactly right. They will end up worshipping the devil, and be destroyed spiritually by his
lies. The Elect of God will not be deceived, and one good
reason for that is that the Elect do not follow this silly but
