Can a police officer read a 911 record?

I retrieved a 911 transcript and I found it difficult to understand so I asked an officer and he looked a little confused and said that it looks like a typo. The transcript says "MC locked the door" What does MC stand for?

    A policeman is not required to read the 911 call records. It sounds like male caller or a typo for Mr. or male.

    MC=Male Caller

    Most of the officers I work with ask me to just find the part they need and translate it for them.
