Video downloads on FireFox vs IE?

When I view videos on some sites, such as YouTube, why is it that the "Download this video" (to RealPlayer) option pops up on IE but not on FireFox?

Can someone help? I prefer to use Firefox though so would like this feature on it instead of IE.

Thank you

    Hello,

There is a fantastic Firefox addon called Video DownloadHelper which is available here:

    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/300...

It is the most popular and highest rated addon on the official Mozilla website.

    stick with ff.

    or opera.

safari seem fast at first but the speed will drop way way lower later.

i test it all on my machine, opera come first then ff next ie and safari come last. yes, overall even ie faster than safari.

the speed you see at first in safari are fake.

    just like anything in mac.

I found that many time I transfers files in Mac, the transferring progress bar often show that it done, but you still can not remove the media, you have to wait a bit more.

It never happen in pc, if it said it done, it done. I can remove my USB drive immediately and no error icon will ever pop up

Ooooh, I have a program for Firefox that lets me download FLV files and then you can get any old program to change it, covert it. just google Video Downloader for Firefox and download it, then you get this neat button that flashes when you can download a movie.
