有時找中文解釋會搞混了,因為中文解釋有時看起來字面意思都是一樣的。建議你,如果遇到像這樣的情形時,可以找英英字典,看英文解釋時,意思就會很清楚了喔!
Illegal
1. forbidden by law or statute.
2. contrary to or forbidden by official rules, regulations, etc
Eg. The referee ruled that it was an illegal forward pass.
Illicit
1. not legally permitted or authorized; unlicensed; unlawful.
2. disapproved of or not permitted for moral or ethical reasons.
觀察一下第一個意思,看起來似乎一樣。不過仔細讀一下第一個解釋,就發現Illegal都是使用在有跟”law”,”official rules”或”regulations”有關的,不過Illicit比較屬於像在談論”道德論理”時用到的字眼。
