Did Perry Mason and Della Street like each other? In a romantic way? I was never sure.

From the TV series to the movies, I never missed one. I used to adore Perry Mason and YES, I always thought that Perry & Della liked each other more than they let on, but I don't remember it ever crossing over to a romantic way in any show, even when they came back years later in the movie where Perry stepped down from the judgeship to defend Della.
