Ever considering that Firefox 3 got here out, it extremely is been the lead browser interior the completed background of the information superhighway. (properly, information superhighway Explorer remains the main properly-widely used) a million. I actual have used Opera and no, it extremely is not the quickest information superhighway browser. It lots pictures sluggish, and it has that strange eastern flag (the white field with the purple circle) earlier completely loading up the image. I hate that. It does not use that little reminiscence. considering that FF3 got here out, the reminiscence utilization has decreased by potential of a good purchase. Firefox has far greater features, with the further upload-ons which will truthfully make it the suitable browser available. 2. Firefox makes use of much less reminiscence. it is likewise quicker. 3. Opera isn't as properly-widely used as Firefox, so as that would desire to be the clarification why they don't use it. additionally simply by fact Firefox IS the suitable browser, not Opera. (No offense.) 4. Uh, sorry. i don't comprehend the question. i'm purely 13 5. No comprendooo. even nevertheless each and every of the questions I replied (3/5; :P) seem siding with Firefox, which grew to become into the element, i'm speaking as a impartial elementary information superhighway surfer.

Internet Explorer uses Active X, here is what Microsoft says about it:

(Neither Firefox nor Opera have Active X)

"There are a number of significant vulnerabilities in technologies related to the IE domain/zone...ActiveX (etc)...It is possible to reduce exposure to these vulnerabilities by using a different web browser"

Firefox. It's open-source which means faster and cleaner development. It's available for Mac, Windows or Linux and works the same way on all of them. It also supports web standards better than anything else. IE8 is due out this fall though, so we'll see. Opera's got too small of a market share to really be worth bothering with.
