    Crustaceans are not mammals!

I think number of legs come into it too... Arachnids have 8 legs, while Crustaceans have 10 legs.

arachnids includes crustaceans in its family so

all crustaceans are arachnids but not all arachnids are crustaceans

crustaceans are arachnids with two segments and a very hard outer shell

and no, there are crustaceans that live on land
