Nepal has a link roads to India and there are many entry points. It would be easier to answer your question if you have mentioned your destination place in Nepal and starting point in India. Anyway here are few options:

1. Enter from East Nepal: Enter to Kakarbhitta, Mechi from Panitanki or Silgudi (India). Direct bus/flight service to Kathmandu or Pokhara.

2. Enter from West Nepal: Enter Mahendra nagar or Tanakpur (about 4-5 hours drive from Naini tal or Delhi). Direct bus/flight service to other major cities of Nepal.

3. Enter from South:

a) Enter Jogbani, Biratnagar from Patna or Kolkata.

b) Enter Raxual, Birganj from Gorakhapur

c) Enter Nepalganj from Lakhanow, Rupaidiya

If u r in DEL, then reach Pilibhit-Tanakpur ( 400 kms ) and crossover to Nepal and reach their town Dhangarhi. Take a flight from there and reach Kathmandu.
