What is the proper idle voltage for a TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) on a Dodge 1500?

    between 6-9 tenths of a volt. just be sure that the throat and throttle blade are clean and that the closed throttle hard stop is ok also check for binding in the linkage before checking voltage or replacing T.P.S..once done you may have to drive it for 15-20 minutes of mixed driving as computer will have to relearn the new setting.before proper idle is achieved.

    if a scan tool is available go to the relearn menu and follow directions
