Canada ranks No. 1 in our annual look at the Best Countries for Business. While the U.S. is paralyzed by fears of a double-dip recession and Europe struggles with sovereign debt issues, Canada’s economy has held up better than most. The $1.6 trillion economy is the ninth biggest in the world and grew 3.1% last year. It is expected to expand 2.4% in 2011, according to the Royal Bank of Canada.
"can you say the difference between the culture of American people and Canadian people?"
The USA is debating allowing gay marriage federally, gay marriage is already legal and recognized in Canada [only one of ten nations that do]
Canada is where United Empire Loyalists came seeking to escape US persecution; as did Native Americans escaping the US policy of Manifest Destiny, so did blacks seeking to escape slavery, so did Vietnam War draft dodgers who's beliefs wouldn't allow them to kill others, for with they'd have gone to prison for in the USA [resisting the draft]
The USA has a culture that uses things like 'teachers with concealed weapons', 'armed schools' and 'solution in the same sentence - the right to bear arms thing. Canadians don't fear our government has a sinister intent we need to arm ourselves against, nor do we fear invasion or attack, nor do I worry about other people with guns as I walk my streets - adding an armed school would be an absolutely horrid totally unacceptable legacy to leave my own children of all people. [nothing the same assault weapon used in the Colorado threatre shootings is available for sale in Canada... Canada has guns, we just have a culture that treats them different and doesn't tend to use them on one another.
Color - colour, armor - armour, center - centre, theater - theatre, etc... the two countries don't even use the same [english] language.
World policeman vs world peacekeeper.
The USA is full of awesomeness, but the differences in countries and cultures is like night and day - no offence intended, just offering factual worldwide sources as validation.
Hope that helps :)
