Red wine uses the whole grape including the seeds, skin and branches. Due to the color of the skin, the color of wine becomes red in color after brewing. Only the dark grape can be used for brewing teh red wine. The typical red wine is made from a grape called Cabinet Sauvignon which is the most remarkable red wine all over the world. Other common grapes are Merlot, Shiraz/Syrah, Pinot Noir, Grenache, Malbec, Cabinet Franc or Zinfadel.....

White wine is brewed only with juice of the grape. Without the skin, the color will not be red. Therefore, white wine can be brewed from both dark and white grapes. Since the white wine is from the juice only, its taste is not as complicated as the red one. One of the most typical wine from thegrape called Chardonnay. Besides, there are also other grapes for white wines such as Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewurstraminer, Muscat or Semillon..........

Sparkling wine means the wine is with bubbles inside. The above two wines are also called still-wine which s used to distinguish from the sparkling wine. The brewing method of sparkling wine is quite different from the normal still-wines. In normal still wines, the grape juice has firstly the 1st fementation in which the sugar is converted to alcohol. After that, the juice will be transferred into the steel tank or Oak barrels for the 2nd fermentation in which is the acidity of the wine is further modified. However, in sparkling wine, after the first fermentation, the juice is filled up into the glass bottle to undergo the second fermentation. During the 2nd fermentation, there are some CO2 is generated, this gas is therefore trapped inside the bottle and it makes the sparkling bubbles in the wine. One of the typical one is Moet & Chandon from Champagne region. Only the sparkling wine from the Champagne region can be called as chamgapne, the other region can only be called as sparkling wine.
