The change is done via your connection itself, so you can't just change it in your browser without messing with TCP/IP settings, etc.
What you CAN do, however, is use a free proxy.
For an anonymous browser (that uses routers to mask your originating IP), use http://www.torproject.org/ - it'd be my choice.
However, a simple HTTP-based proxy might be enough in this case. Also try www.hidemyass.com/

Your best bet is to use an anonymous proxy to mask your IP. You won't have to manually search and enter IP addresses and hope they haven't been blocked because the server has their own that they create and use, then when one gets blocked it moved on to the next. I know the one I use randomly rotates IP addresses every 30 minutes anyway, and also has servers set up in other countries.

you can't use just arbitrary IP address on your computer becaue it won't work.
What you need is anonymous proxy.
Search net for a list of free anonymous proxy servers and when you decide which one to use enter it's ip address under
tools/options/network/connection
select 'manual proxy configuration' and enter proxy data

Your I.P. address is determined by your Internet Service Provider using DHCP which assigns every computer an I.P. address. But you can use a proxy server to mask your I.P. address.

as the others said, it can't be done just with an internet browser... however, you can get round it if you use a proxy... search google for free proxy, you will get millions of results...

There are various Firefox addons that can do this. One popular one is located at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/246...
