Hair highlights?

Does having highlights in your hair make it thinner or thicker?

also would it damage my curls?

Highlights will not damage curls or make your hair thicker or thinner. After a while, color can damage your hair though, and you can almost never get your natural color back once you have lost it. For these reasons, I recommend keeping your natural color for as long as you can possibly stand it. Trust me, growing you hair out from a short bob to a long pony-tail is easier than growing out old highlights you no longer want!

Having highlights in your hair doesn't effect the texture (e.i. thickness or thiness) of your hair. it also would affect your natural curly hair. All highlighting does in remove the natural color pigment taking your hair lighter.
