50 = 100[1-(0.9)^t]

0.5 = 1-(0.9)^t

-0.5 = -(0.9)^t

0.5 = (0.9)^t

log(0.5) = log(0.9^t)

log(0.5) = tlog(0.9)

t = log(0.5)/log(0.9) ≈ 6.5788
