    Jerusalem is the capital of Israel, a city .

    Israel a country in the Mideast. Hebrew and Arabic.

    Palestinians, the Arabic word Filastin has been used to refer to the region since the earliest medieval Arab geographers adopted the Greek name. Filastini (فلسطيني), also derived from the Latinized Greek term Palaestina (Παλαιστίνη), appears to have been used as an Arabic adjectival noun in the region since as early as the 7th century CE.

    The term "Palestinian" was used to refer to all people residing there, regardless of religion or ethnicity, and those granted citizenship by the Mandatory authorities were granted "Palestinian citizenship". Mostly Arabic

    The status of a "united Jerusalem" as Israel's "eternal capital" has not been officially recognized by the international community. Although some countries maintain consulates in Jerusalem, and two maintain embassies in Jerusalem suburbs, all embassies are located outside of the city proper.

    This is a very complex question.

    Israel and the Palestinians have been fighting for ownership of the land for more than half a century. Before that, Arabs lived in the land and called it Palestine. They were and are mostly Muslim, but some Christians also.

    In 1948, some Jews, following a philosophy known as Zionism, began to claim the land. They have been fighting and expanding their country ever since. They claim the city of Jerusalem as their capital. Jerusalem is sacred to the three religions which all worship the God of Abraham. Those three religions are Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

    Right now, Israelis have succeeded in driving out most of the Palestinians who inhabited the land. Former President Jimmy Carter has tried to negotiate peace between Arabs and Israelis.

  • Israelis most of them are Jewish, many of them are secular, and there are some christian and muslim Israelis.

    Palestinians the majority of them are muslims but there is a small percentage of christians within them

    Jerusalem is the first Jewish holy cite and the third muslim holi cite and it is also considered important to the christians since Jesus was born in what is now Israel.

    In 1947 the UN gave 55% of the land to the Jews and the 44% to the Palestinian Arabs and said that Jerusalem should be an open place to all religions and should not be owned by anyone. However, after the wars between Arabs and Israelis in 1948 and 1967, the Israelis occupied all the land that the UN gave to the Palestinians (44%) as well as Jerusalem and made it the capital of Israel.

    Israel(the land) was given to the Jews by God. The Jews were conquered and displaced. While they were gone Arabs(palestinians) moved in and took over. The Jews are back now and the palestinians won't give the land back w/o a fight, they have even put a mosque(the dome of the rock) on the holiest spot in the world for the Jews.

    This is very simplistic but might get the point across.

    Question one answer: No they are just very talkative in agreements and disagreements when it comes to the religion to rule the areas of Israel/Egypt and Middle East... but that is about all...

    They all follow the same religion in secret to themselves.

    Islams/Muslims == Arabia Israel == Atheist, Christianity and Rabbi worship and sometimes Islam and Muslim.

    England == Christianity
