Should Obama pursue legal action against the current admin. once he is in office?

Why do the republicans who scream personal accountability shy away from it when they are the ones to be held accountable?

Update:

There is a lot bush is guilty of. Authorizing torture . subverting the 4th amendment as per the john yoo memo.

telling the phone companies to break the law then trying to make it so they are not held accountable.

oh hes guilty of things alright. all of them are.

Update 2:

waste of time and money???!!! The ken starr witch hunt was a waste of time and money.

prosecuting the bush admin for their long list of criminal activity that has plunged this country into financial recession, endless war and has caused the falling from grace on the world stage ... is imperetive!!!

Update 3:

Once the dems have their nominee and can start focusing on John Mc bomb bomb the republicans will be finished.

Once he is back in his office as Senator maybe he can

earmark another million dollars to the hospital his wife is

working for . Her salary went from $121,910 in 2004 to

$316,962 in 2005 after Barrack was elected as Senator.

If she could get another raise like that she would be making

twice what the President of the United States makes.

No matter who becomes President, there will be no legal action against Bush, unless it comes from Congress.

Congress has refused to impeach .

No President (former or otherwise) can be charged for an alleged crime committed under the authority of the Presidency unless it is done by Congress.

These types of legal battles always threaten to take power away from the Executive Branch. As a result, no President will do or say anything that threatens the power of the office itself.

That is a fact of life.

well, if we all demanded satisfaction and kept on them,

and didnt let the crimes go without them being held accountable~!!!

its just that Americans attention span will probably end up fading away, and just let it go~!!!

whomever says Bush and Cheney havent done anything wrong have got a screw loose~!!!

I heard that He will try. However, I think it will be a big waste of time and money.

That's the whole reason why Speaker Pelosi said she didn't want to impeach the President after winning in 2006.

Legal action for what? The current administration has done nothing illegal and hasn't done anything Congress and the Senate didn't approve. Plus, he has to actually win to even be President and he won't so it is a moot point.

No, because the next President will be John McCain, and there is nothing to charge Bush with, outside of the minds of wishful thinking, Obama supporters.

I think that he should, but more likely he would not.
