What are the Islamic references to placing hands over chest and pointing of index finger during prayer?

What are the ahadith and what is there level of authenticity.

    Hands on Chest During Prayer:

    Halb Ata'ee (RA) reports:

    "l saw the Prophet(s.a.w) placing his right hand over his left hand over his chest" - Ahmad, Tirmidhi

    Wa'il b. Hajr (RA) reports:

    "I prayed with Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) and he put his right hand over his left hand over his chest." - Ibn Khuzaimah, Abu Dawud, Muslim

    Finger Position During Attahayyath:

    `AbdAllah ibn al-Zubayr (RA) reports:

    "The Prophet (s.a.w) would point with his finger when making du`a [in tashahhud] without moving it" - Abu Dawud, al-Nasa'i

    none at all ,praying with your hands on your chest and pointing your index finger during salaat are inovations of ummar ibne al khataab!
