A song about corruption of innocence and the importance of moral character?

I'm writing a comparitive research paper and i'm stuck.

I need a song whose theme is based upon the corruption of innocence and the importance of moral character.

I'm comparing this song to themes in To Kill A Mockingbird, which is a GREAT novel. This necessitates a GREAT song to be used in comparison.

thanks :)

I like "The Boxer" by Simon and Garfunkel. "I have squandered my resistance..." is the corruption of innocence. You can get the streaming audio at:

    Runaway train

    Janie's Got A Gun

    and especially

Jeremy's Spoken by Pearl Jam (this would be the best choice for your paper)
