Jews follow the bible (Torah) as it was handed down generation to generation, over the millenium. They hold fast not just to the bible (Torah)'s written word but also it's oral law that is passed from parent to child, teacher to student. It's the bible given by G-d to the Jewish people after they left Egypt as listed in Exudes. G-ds relationship in return has manifested in many forms over the centuries. There are loads of historical and philosophical works that speak of it. But ultimately like any ones relationship with G-d, be they Muslim, Christan, Jew... it can not be quantified into words in this little space. Greater people then I have had trouble finding those words.
As for the Christian or Muslim "G-d" hating the Jews.... sorry I know this is not the askers question but it was listed above and I feel the need to address it.
This is not true. Since both Christianity and Islam used Judaism as a basis or a template for their religions their G-d is the same. The One, Creator, of the world. Called differently but still be He, Father, Allah or whatever it is still the same entity. Do not mistaken mans hatred for each other (in this case some Christian and Muslims hatred for Jews) as G-d's hatred for Jew's. He created them all and loves them all. To say otherwise is to spread hatred, and that's on a humans head, or you as a person, not on G-ds.
Oh, and Jew's who are black, white, asian... There are a lot of them different colors and shapes and yeah who can date their ansetry back to King David, who was a Gingie by the way. Any Jew who follows the Torah is Jewish, who functions as a part of the ritual Jewish community is Jewish. One black Jewish boy recently was killed when a terrorist shot up the library in Jewish School in Israel, Doron Mahareta, was his name.
