FROm YOUR K-12 School Experience........................??

From you K-12 experience, do you belive schools are really a safe haven for students, in particular for at risk students? Support your argument with reason. From your K-12 experience, try to give one real case of at risk students as an example and discuss how the school (teachers, social worker, school nurse, and administrator of the school as a team) supported the student who is at risk?

well did u hear about the teacher who put a kid in time out and the little 3rd graders teamed up and threatened her..or what ever they did... no school is not a safe place, especially high school cuz of the fights..but now i think all of K-12 is unsafe. only pre-school

The students who slip through the cracks are even more at risk if they are put into large groups and ignored unless they cause trouble, well....

If you needed attention, you would do anything to get it.

Our public schools herd them in and out by the 100's and unless you are a genius or a loud mouth, you get tossed by the wayside.
