Students interested in transferring for the fall semester should have their applications complete (with official transcripts) by June 1. Students interested in transferring for the spring semester should have their applications complete (with official transcripts) by mid-December. Students interested in transferring for the summer session should have their applications complete (with official transcripts) by mid-May for the first term, mid-June for the second term.

One-fourth of the semester hours required for your degree, including 9 of the last 18, must be earned in residence at the University. Students from two-year colleges may transfer a maximum of 64 semester hours.

To be admitted to UA as a transfer student, you must have earned an overall GPA of "C" (2.00 on a 4.00 scale) or higher on all college work attempted. If you have fewer than 24 hours of college coursework, you will also need to meet the current freshman admission requirements.
