I've heard a couple of stories . Do live lobsters actually scream when you put them in boiling water?

    NO NO NO! Lobsters do not scream...They don’t have vocal chords or any other means of vocalization. The only possible thing that you can hear that would sound like a scream is air escaping from under the shell when it starts to cook.

    Yes... I thought it was BS but i cooked a whole case one at a time and the third one let out a death cry.... no joke, a high pitched squeel

    Yes they do but they die so fast once they hit the water that it is over in an instant. It is sad though.
