You may have some difficulties with playing a rh guitar; I definitely could not play a lh guitar, but I've been playing for 40 years; if you learn to play rh from the beginning it may not be so difficult. The other option is to modify your guitar slightly and put the strings on upside down, giving you a lh guitar. I've only had one lesson, and I considered it a waste of time and money. There are several excellent books, and no doubt many websites which can provide you with all you need to know. Practise is the key to success. It's fun learning songs, but it's better to practise your scales, techniques and theory before becoming too ambitious. Above all, persist. It will seem difficult at first but if you apply yourself it can bring you a lifetime of pleasure. I still play regularly, and I'm still learning new things.
