What do you think of Mike Gravel being accepted with open arms to the Libertarian Party?

A good April Fools joke? The Libertarian Party is a joke? If not, explain. I have another question up in the forum that i think intimidated people cause i had too much text. This one is pretty straight forward.

-Go there to look at his issues and see how contradictory they are to the Libertarian Part.

Update:

Laci: Former Senator, was in some Democratic debates.

certain, i imagine the Libertarian get together has a fairly wide umbrella. Mike Gravel appears an straightforward guy. i do not trust his one great massive international authorities imaginitive and prescient, yet i'd vote for him over about ninety 8% of the different applicants contained in the race. Ron Paul excepted, for sure!

Two men from my area who are Libertarian are Bob Barr and Neal Boortz. They are far to the right of Gravel. Ron Paul is closer to being Libertarian than any of the other candidates, not Mike Gravel.

Mike Gravel sounds like a principled man in search of a solution for our country, to bad he headed in the wrong direction looking for the answers.

I actually like him, he makes a lot of sense, too bad the media made a joke out of him. He has made some very valid points. It is definitely a strange combination though, I agree.

He's more socialist than libertarian but he did the right thing by getting out of the Democratic Party

    Mike who? ..lol

Maybe he could have Dennis Kucinich as his VP and have the old Sinatra song "Fly me to the moon" as their theme song

A great April Fools joke to say the least
